10/10/2010 Seven Arab states lodge protest over Arab summit final communique
SIRTE, Libya, Oct 10 (KUNA) -- Seven Arab countries have lodged a memo of protest against the final communique of the Extraordinary Arab Summit which concluded here on Saturday, sources told KUNA on Sunday.
The sources said that the memo was presented to the Arab League's General Secretariat. Names of those countries were not revealed.
The memo comprised a number of protests and key remarks which were not taken into account when the final statement was drafted, "although they were in line with improving and enriching the joint Arab action regime in a way that achieves the desired goal aspired by Arab leaders."
They pointed out that at the time when a number of Arab leaders were hoping that the summit would review the recommendations of the five-member committee to realize a "final and suitable" draft endorsed by all such thing did not take place.
