Maliki discuss with the French Trade Minister the importance of developing relations between Iraq and French

BAGHDAD (Iba) .. Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the importance of developing relations with France in all fields, particularly trade and economic development.

A statement from the office of Prime Minister Maliki said during a meeting with French Trade Minister Anne-Marie Idrac and her entourage, we want to activate the relations between Iraq and France to serve the interests of both countries, and we have an idea about these relationships, we are heading towards the construction and reconstruction and investment.

Maliki said he looked forward for the Iraqi government to cooperate in other areas such as electricity, oil, etc., and invest large financial allocations this year in the field of water and sewage, adding that French companies have experience in this aspect.

And renewed the call to French companies for work in Iraq and contribute to the process of building and construction, and activation of commercial cooperation between the two countries in various directions, including the relation to the importation Alosmontwallhom.

For its part, said French Minister of Trade, we are working to develop relations with Iraq, especially economic and trade, and in this visit we have presented to the Ministry of Electricity for cooperation in the field of electric power stations, as well as cooperation in building oil refineries, in addition to trade cooperation.

She said today we are going to open a great success in Baghdad Atie exhibition of more than (40) a French company, and our participation in this year different from other years because of our desire for full cooperation.
