Baqir al-Zubaidi calls for Export-Import Bank financing for U.S. projects in Iraq
The Minister of Finance Baqir Jabr Al-Zubaidi Export-Import Bank to finance the U.S. large-scale projects with the possibility of a credit agreement with the Trade Bank of Iraq to finance trade between the two countries through the granting of the Iraqi bank line of credit and short-term average.
It was suggested that al-Zubaidi during his meeting with Chairman of the Export Import Bank of the U.S. unique Hoajabirk the bank started to prepare a draft credit agreement with the Trade Bank of Iraq and sent to the Iraqi side of the study and determine the date of signing to give the bank credit lines to certain amounts and certain periods, as well as the bank to send out the conditions and sizes of funding available from for study.
Zubaidi said that the Iraqi side will send priority projects to the Iraqi government, which need to be funded until it is studied by the Export-Import Bank of America.
