Search the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, Dr. Barham Salih, with the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif in Cairo on ways to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, especially in the economic side, between the Territory and the Republic of Egypt.
The two sides discussed the possibilities available to enhance the relations between the two sides, especially in the exchange of experiences and the presence of Egyptian investors in the region as well as the presence of Egyptian companies from the private sector to participate in the process of reconstruction and development in the region.
Following the conclusion of the joint meeting was held, Dr. Barham Saleh and Dr. Magdi Radi, spokesman for the Cabinet's press conference confirmed the benefit that the talks had been addressed by the cooperation and understanding between the leadership of the two countries for the implementation of concrete projects in the service of the two peoples, expressing optimism about the prospects for relations of the two sides, and said «our in Kurdistan, to create a model for our relations with the Arab world model for the rest of Iraq.
He added, «that the Kurdistan today a successful experiment and a pioneer in the field of economic development and political stability, security and hope of Egyptian companies and the Egyptian private sector and the Arab world in general to look into Kurdistan as a potential market and the market important but the most important when we look at it as part of Iraqi airspace best way and the Iraqi market best way».
Saleh had discussed earlier in the day yesterday with the Minister of Industry and Trade Rachid Mohamed Rachid, Egyptian bilateral relations and ways of cementing.
He praised the Egyptian (b physical movement and developments in the region recently), he said, adding that (the region will be a gateway for investment for other areas of Iraq).
And Rashid said about (opening an Egyptian trade center in Kurdistan soon to be it the second Egyptian initiative with the region after opening the Egyptian consulate in Erbil).
He said (and high-level Egyptian delegation headed by Rashid and a number of investors and Egyptian businessmen will visit the region).
