Shaways: New Laws Will Begin to Facilitate Investment
Study projects $ 600 billion dinars

Deputy Prime Minister Nuri Shaways Rose on Tuesday that a group of new laws will begin to facilitate the work of companies wishing to invest in Iraq, while the detection head of the national investment Sami Araji the presence of 600 projects $600 billion dinars under study at the moment.
Said Shaways during a joint press conference at the headquarters of the U.S. embassy yesterday that (the government has taken all the necessary facilities for the work of American companies in Iraq, including the enactment of the investment and to modify, add to the completion of some laws including the privatization law, which was to be completed, and is awaiting the formation of the Government to introduce House of Representatives).
Quoted (Alsumaria News) for the Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Trade Affairs Francisco Sanchez said during the conference that (the reason for not coming for U.S. companies to invest in Iraq is the fear of corruption and not the security situation, especially after the verification of security in most areas).
Sanchez said that (the U.S. administration is trying as much as possible to increase the number of companies invested in Iraq).
For his part, Araji that (there are 600 projects $ 600 billion dinars under study in 12 areas, including electricity, fuel, communications and industry). According to Araji that (priority will be education and housing), pointing out that (the government is trying to strengthen the industrial sector through the rehabilitation of 250 plants across Iraq, something needs to be private sector partnership or privatization of some companies).
