Ammar al-Hakim and Barham Saleh, underlined the need to form a government of national partnership committed to the Constitution

Search the Supreme Islamic Council President Ammar al-Hakim, Sunday, in Baghdad with Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, Barham Salih, the developments of the political situation in the country and the historical relations between the Islamic Supreme Council and the Kurdistan Alliance.

Hakim's office said in a press statement said both sides underlined the need to form a government of national partnership committed to the Constitution and includes all the basic components of the Iraqi people to be able to carry out its duties toward its people of Iraq.

He described al-Hakim in the states following the meeting, the relationship between the Supreme Council and the fundamental forces in the Kurdistan region, particularly the Kurdistan Alliance as a relationship solid, stressing the importance of consultation and communication between the two sides, especially in critical circumstances and the political stranglehold that the country is undergoing in order to search for solutions and treatments of that will contribute to accelerate the formation of the government.

For his part, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, Barham Salih, the task of the historical relations between the two sides describing them as representing an essential element of the new Iraq.

And Saleh stressed that his talks with Mr. Ammar al-Hakim addressed the developments in the political situation and how to work together to pull Iraq back from the political crisis in Iraq and promote political and economic standing and generally attempts that seek to undermine the new democratic order in Iraq.
