U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Jeffrey: We will not interfere in the formation of the government

New U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, confirmed his country's non-interference in the political process and the formation of the new government. Jeffrey said in a press conference held in the building of Nineveh province, during his visit to the city yesterday:
The «U.S. President Barack Obama and Joseph Biden Vice obliged to developing relations with Iraq and the reconstruction teams will remain after the year 2011 as an offshoot of branches of the U.S. embassy and we would like to keep a strong relationship between the province and of the Council and the U.S. forces».
He added that the political process is «an Iraqi process» nothing to do with the United States, but he said:
We believe that the government must be a government partnership, there should be justice and must form a government quickly and this is a problem of democracy». Jeffrey said that «Mosul have developed and stable in recent years», pointing out that he had discussed «with the governor of Nineveh how to develop the city's economy in the future and explained to him how the departure of American forces after the year 2011 ».
