Yemen ~ FM to partake in UN General Assembly meetings

SANA'A, Sep. 17 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi is to head soon for New York to take part in the meetings of the 65th Session of the UN General Assembly on September 20 - 30, the weekly. 26 September said on Friday
Al-Qirbi told the weekly that he would deliver Yemen speech in the meeting, showing Yemen's efforts to achieve security and stability combat terrorism and to enhance economic development.
He would also present the Yemeni view of points in the various international and regional, topped peaces process in the Middle East, and the situations in Iraq, Somalia and Sudan as well as UN reforms.
On the sidelines of the meetings, al-Qirbi will held talks with foreign ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council's states. He will also head the Yemeni delegation in the ministerial meeting of Yemen's friend group.
Moreover, the Minister will also preside over the ministerial meeting of the 77 and China Group, which would focus on issues pertaining to climate changes and environment.
