Iraq, 134 of the session is headed by the Arab League Council today

Iraq is headed by a meeting of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates to be held on Tuesday at its 134 - over two days - to prepare for the meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers of the session itself, to be held next Thursday under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
The representative of Iraq to the Arab League, Dr. Qais Al-Azzawi told the (morning) that Iraq is back to his lap Arab-chaired the meeting where he will continue as Chairman of all meetings of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates of the Arab League and the level of Arab foreign ministers for a period of six months and then summit will be held in Iraq in March 2011 to assume the chairmanship of the Arab summit for another six months so Iraq will be the president for a full year.
Azzawi said that the situation in Iraq is the most important items to be discussed at the meeting, will also consider the item on the situation of Iraqi refugees in Arab host countries, which was incorporated under the Memorandum of the Permanent Delegation to Syria.
He added that among the items contained in the draft agenda are the establishment of an executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information and ways to combat international terrorism.
The meeting will review the report and recommendations of the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights at its 29, which was held during the period from 20 to June 24, 2010 and the appointment of the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Human Rights, and the last of the Standing Committee for Legal Affairs and the Standing Committee for Administrative and Financial Affairs at its regular session (78).
