State law: No Effect of rapprochement with Syria on al-Maliki's chances for a second term
The Deputy for coalition rule of law, on Friday, there was no impact of the convergence of the Iraqi-Syrian chances of Nuri al-Maliki to get a second mandate, noting that agreement on the prime minister of the next government, an internal Iraqi affair.
Janan said Abdul-Jabbar told the Kurdistan News that "the improvement of relations between Syria and Iraq is a political demand national and comes within the country's foreign policy to develop relations with regional countries and the Arab countries in particular" .. Pointing out that "The security situation that prevailed in Iraq after the fall of the former regime effect on the relations between Iraq and Syria."

A delegation of coalition rule of law had visited Damascus middle of last week and held talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as counted by observers to try to change the position of Syria from the head of state law, Nuri al-Maliki for his second term.
This comes after he was accused Nuri al-Maliki to Syria of being behind the bloody attacks that have rocked the capital in 2009, calling for the Syrian government to hand over leadership of the Baath Party and armed groups that are considered responsible for these bombings.
