The Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq Ad Melkert said in a statement Friday on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, that the memory of the orphans and widows and all those who lost loved ones as a result of violence that took place even in the holy month of Ramadan will remain fresh in our minds during this holiday.
Melkert hoped the Iraqi politicians to reach an agreement about the formation of a government that can secure democracy, prosperity and stability to the Iraqis.
