Erbil, Sept. 14 (AKnews) – A member from the Kurdistani Alliance (KL) said his list will support any suggestion by the United States to form a shared government from the (KL), Iraqiya List (IL) and State of Law (SL).
Muhsin Sahdun said Tuesday that the only solution to get Iraq rid of this stalemate is that other countries like the United States offer a solution.
He said the KL will support any solution by the US because Iraq will be worse if it will not have a government soon.
Another KL member Dindar Najman said the Iraqi political blocs find it very hard to give up some of their demands and seek a compromise and that hinders government formation.
Najman said any US solution should be expedited so that we could for a government at soonest.
Earlier, the IL member Jamal Batikh had said that the United States offered a solution to Iraqis to form government from the three major components: KL, IL and SL.
That was also covered in the US media that the US government gave Iraqis a solution to form a government.
The US solution is to give the post of the Prime Minister to Nuri Malik, head of SL, president for Jalal Talabani, who is a Kurd, and Ayad Allawi head of IL would become president of the national security council with many significant authorities.
