September 7, 2010Finance Minister calls for support of national industry and rehabilitation facilities
Minister and Minister of Finance Baqir al-Zubaidi on the importance of supporting the national industry with all the means to the advancement of sects with rehabilitation facility in order to take a leading role in supporting the Iraqi economy.
A statement from the Ministry of Finance said that al-Zubaidi said during a meeting with Secretary General of the Community of Imam al-Hakim, members of the assembly, the importance of moving toward encouraging investment and the rehabilitation of Iraqi factories that have suffered from neglect for a long time in order to provide jobs for Iraqis and cover the local market need of industrial materials.
The statement said Zubaidi stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Finance through the banks and especially the Industrial Bank to support the industrial sector through the provision of loans for industrialists Iraqis.
