Geithner: “No threat of Chinese trade war”

Mr Geithner believes that there is little chance of escalating trade tensions with China over the Yuan. This would seem to back up the theory that the China FX bill is purely political showboating ahead of upcoming elections and will never actually be passed into law. This is mildly AUD positive. On another note, China is on holidays today and all of next week
