Discuss U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden last night the latest developments in Iraq with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi, in a telephone interview.
A statement issued by the White House that the talks dealt with the ongoing negotiations on forming a new Iraqi government, noting that Biden called on Iraqi leaders to push efforts to form an inclusive government and the legitimacy to meet the needs of the Iraqi people.
