Barham Salih, looking with a delegation of U.S. security and political situation in Iraq
Arbil ( Iba ) .. Search KRG President Barham Ahmad Salih, on Monday 6 / 9, in Erbil, with the new commander of U.S. forces in Iraq, Gen. Lloyd Austin and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq , James Jeffrey, coordination and political and security cooperation and economic cooperation between the United States of America and the Region of Kurdistan.
The two sides also discussed during the meeting , assistance by U.S. forces to unite forces and Kurdish Peshmerga Tdrbhe and developed as part of the Iraqi defense system , emphasizing the need to strengthen these ties serve common interests of the Kurdistan region and the United States.
In another aspect of the meeting, discussed the political situation in Iraq and efforts to form a new government, the two sides expressed their support for the formation of a government national partnership committed to the Constitution , in order to save Iraq from the crisis that is going through.
