BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Having a Kurdish president of Iraq is linked to changes that could occur in the Iraqi political arena, Kurdish Lawmaker Mahmoud Othman said on Sunday.
“The issue that the Kurdistan Alliance would keep or give away the position of Iraq’s President is subjected to discussions with other blocs,” Othman told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He explained that the decisive point in this regard are the coalitions that will be joined to form the new government.
