Deputy Prime Minister Nuri al-Shaways Rose to amend the draft on the initiation of the International Covenant and make management of Iraq, confirming the presence of positive signals about the country out of the pain of Chapter VII.
Shaways said in an interview with »Sabah» that «the International Covenant project developed some years ago to support Iraq and its support in the beginning made a lot of the country, but years later, it had become necessary to make some changes in its structure and content.
The Deputy Prime Minister: that «the project must be running Iraq and the international role of supporter and not a major», noting that «the draft International Covenant on in the process of amendment.
Shaways, who heads the Committee to Protect Iraq's money said that the committee has recently been able to find a quick plan to win the trust of the international community, noting that this was confirmed by the latest report of the Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, which he pointed out the positive points made by Iraq during the past period.
He continued: «The Committee is also seeking to resolve outstanding problems and the settlement of the remaining contracts under the Oil for Food», noting that all these moves pave the way for the country out of Chapter VII and subject to positive signals on it.
