I will explain a little more in detail so everyone understands the reason for Lakehouse'e decision in turning her blog private. Lake has been providing her blog to all for free for over 1 year and has received on her main site well over 1.2 million hits. Her blog had been mirrored in 7 different nations in 7 different languages and the amount of hits on those mirrored sights daily put her total hits at well over 5 million+. Lake also has sophisticated software that allows her to track all of the things she had posted on the blog and she was able to locate all of her postings that she had done that had been copied and re posted anywhere on the net. She is also able to see the ISPs and location of all her readership worldwide and all link backs. Many would be surprised to know that her blog was read daily by people at the UN and even the BIS (Bank of International settlements). Lake knew that many people copied and re posted her blog contents onto other forums and that was well and good for that was the very reason for her blog...free sharing of news and information. Yes there were a few people who would repost Lakes stuff including unique content of pictures and her own commentary within the stories to different forums and that was all ok. BUT...when she found that someone was taking all of her content including her own commentary and unique formatting and art work and reposting it onto a blog and presenting Lakehouse's work as their own AND getting paid sponsorship that was crossing the line. So when Lake found the blog of this woman and saw that she was being paid by a dinar dealer for all of the content and posting and that all of the comment and posting was only a 100% copy and paste of Lakehouse's own blog "East Meets West" that was when Lakehouse decided to close the blog. The woman who started this other blog and was taking all of Lakehouse's material and presenting it as their own did so using a masking ISP and is a known "sock puppet" on many dinar forums and has been known to post on chats and forums responses to herself under different user names both male and female. Now the use of masking ISPs and different user names by this sock puppet was just a funny thing to watch and track before but when this person began to profit financially from all of Lakehouse's hard work and claiming it as their own that is when the line was crossed. So...it is sad to say but because of the low moral standards of a few all must pay the price. Such is life. Be safe and be well and be careful....needless to say there are persons of dark and questionable motivation on some of the forums.
