Dr. Rafie al-Issawi receives U.S. congressional delegation in the presence of
A number of parliamentarians in the Iraqi List
HE Dr. Rafie al-Issawi in his office Thursday evening, a delegation from the
Congress included Senator John McCain and Joseph Lieberman and Lindsey Graham, a delegation from the U.S. Embassy.
Search and Deputy Prime Minister in the presence of members of the House of Representatives from the list the entire Iraqi political and economic conditions and the future of U.S. forces in Iraq.
Issawi, said that the Iraqi List in the past dialogues with the other lists in order to reach satisfactory solutions and to make amendments to the government program to achieve security and stability and improving the file service and the development of human capacity and creating jobs for the unemployed.
Issawi said the importance of observing the provisions of the Constitution and the need to respect the legal limit for the selection of parliament and the presidency of the Republic and the ministers, thus accelerating the formation of the government anticipated.
For their part, said members of the visiting delegation that their visit is part of assessing the situation from different aspects in the light of the start by applying the Convention to reduce number of U.S. troops and the delivery of sites and camps to the Iraqi side.
