D. Barham Salih discusses with Joseph Biden, the latest developments on the Iraqi arena and ways to form new government
BAGHDAD: Prime Minister met with the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Barham Ahmed Saleh, yesterday, Sunday, 4/7/2010, in Baghdad, U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, and discussed the latest developments on the Iraqi arena and ways to strengthen relations between the U.S. and the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, which was attended by Christopher Hill, U.S. ambassador to Iraq, and Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman, and Mohammed Ihsan, the relations of the Territory of Baghdad, an exchange of views on the formation of the new Iraqi government, where the two sides affirmed that the last parliamentary elections took place successfully, and reflected the majority will of the Iraqi people, so should be accelerated in forming a government under the Constitution and abide by its terms.
