Made by the National Asttmarjhoda for the rehabilitation of the major hotels in Baghdad and make them able to receive the delegations of the forthcoming Arab Summit Conference held at the end of March next year, according to Maaalnt community activist in the hotel business and tourism.
The Managing Director of the Babylon Hotel Oberoi, one of the most prestigious Baghdad hotel on behalf of the Creative Commons Antoine said he expected the visit of delegations from international companies known to Baghdad soon, at the invitation of stakeholders, namely the National Commission for Investment and Tourism Authority to study the requirements of the hotel and could be configured to work in preparation for receiving The delegations of the Arab Summit.
Antoine said that the large hotels in Baghdad, strapped in the level of services and poor infrastructure which will require accelerated rehabilitation because of the urgent need for their services.
He pointed out that 6 major hotels were built twenty years ago, exposed to the looting and sabotage after the year 2003 making it unable to receive guests as required.
