Kurdistan Alliance will play great role in Iraq

Erbil, June 9, (AKnews) – A senior official of the State of Law bloc has pointed out that the Kurdistan Alliance's terms are so hard and difficult to shape alliance, even if they are considering them as legal conditions in Iraq.

"The Iraqi winning parties are continuing on their round table sessions to form an alliance, but we need further negotiation dialogues to keep close the local political parties on the descents for shaping the next government of Iraq," Hassan Snedi said.

"We believe that forming the government will be very hard, if the major political parties would not reach an agreement on the senior positions and posts in Iraq," Snedi added.

According to their party's relations with the Kurdistan alliance, he noted: "there are some progressive developments between both parties, but we need further time to reach an agreement."

"The Kurdistan Alliance's terms are so difficult to be performed, even if they are considering them as legal conditions, but we would give guarantee to achive all the conditions in Iraq," he added.

"We will set negotiation dialogues with the Kurdistan Alliance to take into considation their conditions and terms to form an alliance while they come to Baghdad," he said.

"We have appointed the rate of 25 percent of posts to the Kurdistan Alliance in the next government of Iraq, due to considering the Kurds as the second community after Arabs in Iraq," he added.

The table sessions and negotiations are the only means to end the tensions among the political parties in Iraq, he said.

"We have taken into consideration the Kurdistan Alliance's conditions to shape coalitions, which are legal terms, but we need further times to reach an understanding between each other," the spokesperson of al-Iraqiya list, Hayder Al-Mullah said.

There are believes that the Kurdistan Alliance must take several roles and responsibilities in the next government of Iraq, because they have the crucial position in Iraq," All-Mullah concluded.
