The objective of the conference is to call attention to the importance of development in the global agenda and discuss a set of issues that are central to inclusive, sustainable, and balanced growth in the medium- and long-term. Specifically, the conference will address the following issues: (i) a global economy with multiple growth poles, (ii) the development implications of the G-20 Growth and Mutual Assessment Process, (iii) the Korean development experience, and (iv) four sectoral topics: aid for trade; food security; infrastructure, innovation, and green growth; and inclusive finance.
