Iraqi contractors are demanding their government, regardless of financial dues
Baghdad, A number of contractors of U.S. forces and the Iraqi government ended its mandate, on Wednesday, regardless of financial dues which had been delayed for more than six months.
He said the contractor the full sound Kurdistan News Agency (Akaniwz) "The Iraqi government has reneged on payment of the sums after we have implemented important projects and head of the country."
"The Iraqi government has shown its willingness to pay sums to the Company (NM _HJ) U.S., which ended the contract with her because of the large financial loss in Iraq."
He said, "a committee of the Prime Minister has to solve this issue and has committed to the company to pay U.S. dues to the local Iraqi companies contracting with the company but that has not been achieved despite the insistent claims."
From his part, the director of "territories in Sharjah," Taher Hammoud for (Akaniwz) that "the U.S. company is required 135 million Dinars, and pledged to the Ministerial Committee for payment against its implementation of initial projects in the country but this has not been applied to the ground."
He pointed out that "the Committee did not meet after the local companies that request an American company, and remained the case on what it until this moment."
Hammoud noted that "companies that require the U.S. company will provide evidence of legal commitments made by the central committee of the prime minister to the owners of local companies as soon as open the case prosecuted."
He called the contractor Mohammed Batti the Iraqi government to make "further efforts in the investigation of this issue, which is supposed to have a clear position on this matter."
He told (Akaniwz) that "the government did not react with this issue for reasons unknown, especially since the State Committee of the Investment Authority did not deal professionally with this file".
"We expect quick solutions, otherwise we will take the case before the Iraqi judiciary to the State Commission in charge of the subject, which did not provide anything tangible for us."
He stressed, "there are real problems in the performance of the committee, which did not meet only once, the affected companies about the loss of an American company in Iraq."
For its part, the Iraqi government denied the outgoing learning about this subject, the adviser said with Ahmed reputation beyond for (Akaniwz) that "this issue by the government to learn that the topic related venture between major and minor companies and not between domestic companies and the government."
He said, "did not send the government mandate of the Commission on this subject for a simple reason that the government has no legal relationship with regard to cooperation between foreign and local."
