Government adviser: The Iraqi government seeks to establish a new oil pipeline to export oil

Baghdad, Zkrmeschar in the Iraqi government Tuesday that Iraq is seeking to establish a tube similar to Turkey's Ceyhan pipeline stretching across the Arab countries from Oman to export oil.

The Advisor to the Kurdistan News Agency (Akaniwz) announced today that "The Iraqi government seeks to establish a pipeline passing through Amman Arab countries similar to Turkey's Ceyhan pipeline to mature oil exports to Arab countries, Iraq."

"We have the agreement to extend the transfer of crude oil that Iraq had concluded with Turkey will contribute to the increase in oil exports during the next ten years, but we need another oil pipeline exported to other countries."

He added that "Iraq will be oil to European Union countries through Turkey's Ceyhan pipeline, which need a similar pipeline to export oil to the Arab and regional countries with a view to speeding up the development of export oil through the past four years"

He added that "the development of the Iraqi economy depends on oil is essential, therefore, is supposed to put us out plan and a good export Iraq needs to Knbub Ceyhan pipeline to deliver oil to other countries."

The Iraqi Oil Ministry has signed an agreement to extend the transfer of crude oil through the pipeline between Kirkuk and the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean Sea for 12 years.

Turkey has asked the Iraqi government ended its mandate to renew the contract of transfer of Iraqi oil to world markets for a period ranging between 15 to 20 years.

And connecting the Kirkuk oil fields north of Baghdad and the Turkish port of Ceyhan pipeline length of 970 km, for distribution in global markets.

And the transfer of dual-pipeline which was inaugurated in 1976 a total of 167.7 million barrels in the year 2009, according to figures from Turkey.
