Talabani received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Iraq
BAGHDAD (AP) - The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, the importance of developing relations and expanding horizons of cooperation with the Republic of South Korea in all spheres of political, economic, trade, development and culture.
The confirmation of President Talabani received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea's new ambassador to Iraq Park Suk-bum.
During the handover ceremony, attended by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and President of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic Naseer al-Ani, the Iraqi president congratulated the Korean Ambassador on the occasion of his accession to his new post in Iraq, stressing the importance of strengthening the bonds of mutual friendship.
President Talabani also stressed the importance of participation of Korean businesses in the area of reconstruction and rebuilding Iraq's infrastructure and the investment process in the country.
For his part, through the Korean Ambassador Park Suk-bum for his aspiration and desire to develop bilateral relations between the two countries and at all levels, stressing his country's support for the political process in Iraq and the democratic experiment.
