Sistani receives Melkert

NAJAF / Aswat al-Iraq: Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani on Wednesday met with Ad Melkert, the representative of the UN secretary general in Iraq.
“Sistani received Melkert in Najaf today,” a local source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He noted that a press conference will be held after the meeting ends.
