Office of the President Hashemi denies request for an urgent meeting of the Council of the Presidency

The office of President Talabani has not received any call or letter from Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi to hold an urgent meeting of the Council presidency.

He said a press statement received for the presidency (and the Iraqi News Agency Information / INA) that the President and Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi Itdarsan currently the subject of a meeting of the Council Presidency and the call to the Political Council for National Security to discuss the current political situation in our country.
