May 5, 2010 Maliki receives 9 Iraqi ambassadors
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki received on Wednesday nine Iraqi ambassador, urging them to foster Iraq’s ties with world countries, according to an official statement.
“The premier underlined during his meeting with the ambassadors on the importance to develop Iraq’s relations with other countries and to highlight Iraq’s true image,” said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“He urged the diplomats to encourage the countries, where they work, to invest in Iraq and to attract foreign companies to take part in the reconstruction operation,” it noted.
