Arab League: Iraq's strategic location qualifies it to electric power exchange between Turkey and some Arab countries
Cairo, The Arab League on Monday that the link between the Arab Mashreq countries, namely Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Turkey-based and within which the energy exchange is being made between these countries.

She added that "The Arab League will be the implementation of Part III of the study of Arab electricity grid and comprehensive evaluation of the exploitation of natural gas for export of electricity between the Arab countries," pointing out that "the meeting discussed the topic of financing for the study on the institutional and legislative frameworks and legal electrical connection between the Arab states to accommodate the interconnection of the Arab power in the future, including easy to handle in terms of the sale and purchase of energy through the plans to link electricity ".
