Iraq welcomes the invitation of Turkey to sign free trade agreement

Baghdad, The Iraqi government welcomed the outgoing, Monday, at the invitation of Turkey to sign free trade agreement between the two countries.

He said Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh told Kurdistan News (Akaniwz) said that his government "welcomes any initiative by any of the commercial States to the task and commerce, especially when a country like Turkey, linking the region to Europe."

"The invitation to the Turkish establishment of a free trade comes from the door of the prevailing belief that Iraq is a model represents an important trade in the region, which is supposed to deal with it according to the best tactics."

"There is a general perception in the region that Iraq would be a turning point for business in the Middle East if the stability of security and political situation," he said.

Dabbagh noted that the need to "be the next stage is very important especially with regard to the development of investment and infrastructure projects in the country."

Turkey called on Iraq on Sunday to sign a free trade agreement with them to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries, at a meeting in Istanbul Turkey Iraq on energy and trade.
