Iraq, Egypt is demanding half a billion dollars in interest on receivables for employment in the era of Saddam

Cairo (Drabin): Unveiling the senior Egyptian diplomat said on Sunday that Egypt calls on Iraq to pay 537 million dollars, are the benefits of annual dues of the workers were Egyptians working in Iraq two decades ago.

The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Ayman Zein-Eldin said the amount is interest on 408 million dollars, is the dues established by the United Nations to Egyptian workers under economic sanctions imposed on the regime of President Saddam Hussein after his invasion of Kuwait in 1990.

He increased discussion of religion in the amount of awareness of the Parliament as "reasonable development in light of rising prices."

The MPs have called on the government to recover the amounts due to what they say that improved economic conditions of Iraq and the increase in the daily income of the sale of oil.

But Zinedine told parliament that the delay was because the government's keenness "to fulfill the benefits of receivables."

The Iraqi government refuses to pay benefits while she was offering to pay out benefits of employment.
