Issawi holds talks with US diplomat

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq:

Deputy Prime Minister, Rafia al-Issawi discussed on Tuesday with Jeffrey Feltman, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, talks among political blocs to form the government, according to an official statement.

“The meeting with Feltman and his accompanying delegation tackled also efforts aims at bringing Iraq out of Chapter VII,” said the statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

“Feltman underlined the US keenness and support to form a government of national unity,” it added.
