MISSAN - Al-Sadr office in Amara started on Friday the referendum to choose the appropriate figure to assume the prime minister post, according to a member of al-Ahrar bloc in Missan.

BAGHDAD - Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani discussed with Prime Minster Nouri al-Maliki forming a national partnership government, according to a presidential statement on Friday.

DIWANIYA - The Sadr office in Diwaniya has opened 100 polling centers for the referendum organized by the Sadrists to choose the coming prime minister, director of the electoral department of al-Sadr office in Diwaniya said on Friday.
