State of Law, Iraqi National Alliance to merge
Erbil, The Islamic Fadilah party called the Iraqi National Coalition and State of Law to postpone the negotiations about choosing the PM until they merge together.
"The two coalitions must merge together to form a strong parliamentary bloc before anything else.... the declaration of integration at the present time will facilitate the process of resolving the issue of choosing the next prime minister," the leader of Fadilah party which belongs to the Iraqi National Coalition Hassan Al-Shummari told the Independent National News Agency of Kurdistan.
"The negotiations between the Iraqi National Coalition and State of Law to choose the appropriate person for the PM post needs time and negotiations that may take a long time," Al-Shummari said.
Al-Shummari was optimistic that "the two coalitions will pass over their disputes to reach a solution that would create a paramilitary force which represents the majority thus gets the right to lead the next government."
A number of leaders of the Iraqi National Coalition and State of Law coalition stressed on that the ongoing talks between the two sides are positive and they are negotiating about the appropriate person to head the next government.
