April 22, 2010 NOC digs 9 new oil wells
KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi state-run North Oil Company (NOC) said that it finalized the process of digging nine new oil wells.
“NOC seeks to rehabilitate 13 other oil wells during the coming days,” a source from the company told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
He noted that production rates of the company have been increased by a margin of more than 25 thousand barrels of oil.
The oil-rich city of Kirkuk lies 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
