Oil Ministry confirmed it is to build the center oil company with a capital amount of (100) billion dinars.
And the transfer of the press center for information about the ministry's spokesperson, Assem Jihad, "The Council of Ministers approved the request of the Ministry of Oil and establish an oil center."
Jihad said that "this company will be the fourth after each of the companies south, north, and Maysan," noting "it would be responsible for development of oil fields in the central region of the country."
He noted "that the ministry will be the disengagement of some circles of the Ministry and the oil company attached to the center to accelerate the formation of the company, and reduce the momentum to other companies."
The oil ministry is trying to raise the ceiling on oil production and development of producing oil fields in addition to the agreement with foreign companies for the purpose of investment in the oil sector.
