Kurdistan Regional Government are looking at the central Baghdad with oil issues

BAGHDAD (D: Rabin) announced that the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Barham Saleh said Sunday that a delegation representing the province will go to Baghdad next week to discuss the issue of export of oil and the powers of the Territory in its oil wealth, as well as the issues of the region signed contracts with oil companies.

Saleh expressed his hope that the discussions for resolving the problems between Baghdad and Arbil, and work in a positive spirit with those problems.

Indicating that the meeting comes within a series of proposals by the Kurdish side to solve the problem of oil contracts and re-export of oil from the region.

It is said that the region was soon to be issued approximately 100 thousand barrels of crude oil through the pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean, while the proceeds of these exports go to the Central Treasury in Baghdad.
