Centre for Arab Gulf Studies assess the seventh conference

Assess the Arab Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basra after the seventh conference on Tuesday to discuss the situation in the region and ways to strengthen Iraqi relations - the Gulf.

Dr. Jassim Al-Ghali Rummy "morning", said: The test represented a new attempt adopted by the Centre for Arab Gulf Studies to reform the Iraqi relations with the Gulf States that were damaged as a result of the policy pursued by the former regime impacted negatively on both the Iraqi people and the peoples of the region.
He added that the conference, which lasts over on Tuesday and Wednesday, is designed to turn the page on the past, and seeks to create a favorable climate for the construction of sustainable development, and promote mutual relations and the unity of culture through dialogue, constructive knowledge and visions.
He explained that the group of researchers and scholars Iraqis will participate in the conference under the slogan (relations between Iraq and the Gulf .. activation of the participants for a better future), indicating that the participants are going to address during the days of the conference themes in politics and in history and geography, as well as literature, language, economics, anthropology, and expressed hoped that participation will be extensive, leading to achieve the goals of the conference and the aspirations of the University and the Centre build a new Iraqi Arab Gulf.
