Talabani discusses with Iranian President bilateral ties

Received a «morning» copy of it: «President Talabani stressed during the meeting Iraq's desire to establish good relations and close cooperation with all brotherly and friendly countries, especially neighboring countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran». He added: «Ahmadinejad stressed that his country's commitment to developing bilateral relations in all fields and upgrading for the benefit of the two countries and strengthening security and stability in the region .
The president arrived in Tehran yesterday in response to an official invitation addressed to him by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to attend a meeting of Heads of State shortly after celebrating Nowruz. accompanied by President Jalal Talabani during a visit by a delegation comprising his deputy, Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi, a top adviser Fakhri Karim, a number of other officials.
