The President Talabani during a meeting with Dr. Allawi on Sunday evening at his residence in the city of Sulaymaniyah, according to a presidential statement received (morning) a copy of it, efforts should be continued in order to develop the country's interest above all other interests.
The two sides stressed that Iraq is in urgent need for concerted sincere efforts to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the deepening of the situation of growing democracy in the country.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan region, Dr. Barham Ahmed Saleh and a number of other officials and senior adviser to the President Professor Fakhri Karim.
