Gaddafi before the Arab summit meeting with 29 Iraqi opposition figure

Pre-empted the Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, on Sunday, the Arab summit to be held late this month in the Libyan city of Sirte to meet a number of leaders of parties, organizations and movements and Iraqi personalities who live abroad and have positions oppose the U.S. presence in Iraq.
According to the information on the Gaddafi, whose country holds this year's summit had asked for an urgent meeting with these characters that represent the various factions of the Iraqi Resistance and the Baath Party and the Association of Muslim Scholars, a number of leaders of the former Iraqi army, numbering 29 character without knowing the reasons behind this request before the Arab summit.
The information suggests that an Iraqi diplomat who worked previously as ambassador to Iraq under President Saddam Hussein is assumed the coordination between the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and these characters.
The Iraqi diplomat had been invited to these characters in a restaurant in the capital of Arab and by inviting private dinner told them the desire of Colonel Gaddafi to meet them just before the summit.
