France is making efforts to rid Iraq of Chapter VII of money
President of the Basra city council met with its ambassador in Baghdad

Head of the Basra Governorate Council Jabbar Amin Jaber said he got a promise from the French ambassador in Baghdad, Boris Bualeon efforts to drive Iraq from Chapter VII.
Jaber said in a press agency reported, "Nina" to the news yesterday that he had obtained during his meeting with the ambassador on a promise to make every effort to provide support to Iraq, especially trying to take him out of Chapter VII. "
He stressed that "the depth of relations between the two countries could be the starting point to strengthen cooperation in the interest of the two countries, praising the great role played by France in various fields, especially the humanitarian side by standing with the Iraqi people and alleviating their sufferings."
And Jaber said, "Experience of modern democracy in Iraq is in need of support and assistance, especially for countries with the greatest impact in the international arena, including France."
For his part, the French ambassador that "Basra is a big city, safe and have a lot of features Maidfna to work for us to open a consulate in the city to expand the audience for French investment companies as well as providing all support for the Iraqi people."
