March 10, 2010 FM to represent Iraq in Arab summit, says al-Dabbagh
BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi government will assign Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari to represent Iraq in the coming Arab summit, spokesman for the Iraqi government said on Wednesday.
“Zebari will lead the Iraqi delegation in the coming Arab summit, scheduled in Libya by the end of the month,” Ali al-Dabbagh told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Everyone is busy this month by forming the new government, so the foreign minister will be assigned to represent Iraq in this summit,” he added.
“We wish the coming summit a great success,” al-Dabbagh said, hoping that Iraq could have the opportunity to host the next summit.
