100 international firms to attend Karbala investment conference

Preparations have been made for an investment conference in Karbala, where nearly 100 international companies are expected to participate.
“The Chamber of Commerce has completed all preparations needed for the success of the investment conference, which will be held in Karbala on April 10 under the auspices of the local government,” the head of the Chamber of Commerce in the province, Nabeel al-Anbari, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Nearly 100 international companies willing to invest in Iraq will attend the conference, he added.
During the conference, a number of protocols and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed with traders from different countries in an attempt to encourage trade activities in Iraq.
