17-02-2010 VP al-Hashimi, Zebari discuss politics, foreign relations
Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi met with Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari today to discuss the current political situation and Iraq’s relations with several countries, particularly with neighboring countries.
“During the meeting, Hashimi has outlined the outcome of his visit to the United States,” according to a presidential statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The two officials have also tackled the current political scene and preparations for the upcoming parliamentary election, the statement pointed out.
