Met with the Minister of Finance Baqir al-Zubaidi in an extensive meeting with the finest selection of clan elders in a meeting lasting more than two hours, during which His Excellency the minister of the economy of Iraq in Sadr City and the outskirts of Baghdad, which has witnessed "significant" in all areas.
He said "to prudent economic policy adopted by the Ministry of Finance in the protection of public money and that Iraq has set aside the results of the global financial crisis as well as promoting Iraq's relationship with international institutions, especially the" World Bank and International Monetary Fund, who spoke clearly and explicitly the remarkable efforts of the Ministry of Finance in the advancement of the Iraqi economy and the promotion of economic relationship with international institutions and the countries of the world.
He also reviewed his Excellency the Minister and the team that work with him in the fire of Iraq's debt left behind by the defunct regime of Saddam in the amount of (140) billion dollars and used by the system in futile wars against neighboring countries and against the Iraqi people from north to south, where the debt not used to create a new one but used it to buy weapons, which suffer from its impact of the Iraqi people so far.
Where was extinguished more than (120) billion dollars on a trip that lasted more than four years and look forward to extinguish the remainder of Iraq's debt and the debt that most Arab and Turkey and Poland and we have a talk with her, especially the "Egypt, Hasib debt in addition to Denmark will sign this agreement today, Hasib remaining 20% of its debt to Iraq, so that this State has turned off 100% of the debts on Iraq and we hope that the Arab countries in this same initiative, similar to the United Arab Emirates.
His Excellency also reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of the Minister to improve the performance of banks and bodies and increase the resources of other state and non-oil tax Kalkmark where customs revenue for the year 2009 (476) billion dinars, also increased the number of branches of government banks to more than (155) branch of the tributaries and more than (135) Branch of the rational as well as banks, real estate, agricultural and industrial praised the Iraqi citizen, the performance of these banks, especially "in the opening of the smart card for pensioners and the social protection network and the use of banking technology in the world do their job.
He said "the support of the Ministry of Finance of the ministries and governorates, where the total investment budget for 2010 will be more than $ 20 billion would be earmarked for the advancement of projects by which will provide between (600700) a thousand jobs and will be of interest in addressing the phenomenon of unemployment.
The Minister also praised the importance of supporting the Iraqi private sector to promote various projects in the Iraqi arena, saying that "the importance of investment at this stage to construction projects and strategic advancement of religious tourism because of the potential foster a favorable investment climate in all areas.
His Excellency also reviewed the security situation, the minister and the efforts made during his leadership of the Ministry of the Interior in the Government of d. Jaafari and the possibilities of work with HE former Secretary of Defense d. Saadoun al-Dulaimi and achievements in the face of terrorism and protect Baghdad from falling into their own hands despite the potential of simple confrontation.
He listened to the remarks of the Minister to attend them were responded to with full transparency to reach positive results, serve the new Iraq.
