BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) in Iraq issued a group of laws to organize the country’s upcoming parliamentary election on March 7, 2010.
“Electoral process in Iraq needs such laws,” Qassim al-Ibodi, member of IHEC Board of Commissioners, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Tuesday.
He did not mention further details about the laws, but said that IHEC took such measures to avoid overcome legislative malfunction in Iraq.
