Paris pledges standing with Baghdad .. and the Czech Republic announced its participation in election monitoring

Said Mr. Ammar Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council that Iraq is seeking to build a balanced international relations, at the time called on the Czech Republic to have a large and effective role in urging European countries to open up to Iraq to understand the reality of the country.
According to a statement issued by the Supreme Council that Mr. Hakim met with French Ambassador to Iraq Boris Bwalun Saturday night.
During the meeting, according to a statement received "morning," a copy of it, review issues of mutual interest, as the two sides exchanged views in regard to bilateral relations between the two countries.
Bwalun stressed that France would stand by Iraq in all areas of political, economic, cultural and infrastructure restoration and effective participation in removing Iraq from Chapter VII and the international mandate, and seek to use France's relations effective in opening up the neighboring countries to Iraq's reality.
Ambassador: French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, possess a positive, optimistic about the future of Iraq, so the current French political aims to support Iraq and its support and seek to participate in all design in stability and fulfillment.
For his part, welcomed Mr. Hakim's vision of an optimistic and positive, stressing that Iraq believes building a balanced international relations and open to all countries, including France, and that the country was keen to benefit from all experiences and involving all those who wish to contribute to the advancement of Iraq's political, economic, and investment.

It is said that President Jalal Talabani visited Paris last year, promised to visit, observers then "crown" for a normalization of relations between Iraq and - after the French opposed the war, Paris 2003, especially after he attended the Talabani and his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy ceremony of the signing of memorandums of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
